Data Science

      Data Science

This is a simple blog about my experience in Data Science. Now as you all know the most used programming language for any sort of machine learning or ai problems is Python. And you need to learn python before you learn anything about Data Science (if you want to code along too)😀

But I had an advantage as I had already learnt Python in the First year of my college as it was one of our compulsory subjects, and I am pretty good at it. So I was ready to go on my Data Science journey. The first course I started was a course by IBM on Coursera about Data Science. I started the course and was going on well but due to some problems I could not finish the course. So I cancelled my course subscription and unfortunately could not receive a certificate as I had to leave the course half-way through. The next thing was a course by Stanford University on Machine Learning (You probably already know this if you are learning Data Science too 😉). And surprisingly this course was freely available on YouTube so I started with it the day I found the course. But that was a really really long course to finish and it took a lot of time to take notes too. I guess I finished that one in around 3 months.
I was satisfied from the course and it's content but it was too much theory and less practical so I wanted something more.

That's why I started to see Machine Learning projects by people on a website known as Towards Data Science and I was reading their codes and coding along. It really helped me as the explanations given on that website were too good. I made projects like Handwritten Digit Recognition, and Classification of Clothing, Detecting a moving object, Detecting a face in a video etc:
